Ho hum, another record year so far for population growth in NB....

Quarterly population estimates were published by Stats Can yesterday. The pop growth numbers in Atlantic Canada - particularly the Maritimes - still strong. Between Q3 2022 and Q3 2023, the population across the Maritimes added well over 3%. That continues to be startingly impressive although you will see the growth was strong across the country.

And for you grumps that do not think we are in historic territory…

If you add up Q1-Q3 population growth this year it amounts to 16,900. Same period last year 13,800. NB had a strong Q4 last year, however.
